These cloth helmet liners are made of khaki colored cotton twill and are intended to be part of the Impact Resistant Flight Deck Crewman’s Helmet in accordance with MIL-H-81735B. They are intended for protection of the cranium and for identification of personnel on flight decks of carrier or landing strips of air stations, and for use by passengers on Carrier On Board Delivery (COD) aircraft.
